Single-seat fighter constructed in Soviet Union. Aircraft on display - number 3305 (s/n 613305) - was made under licence in Czechoslovakia. Production lasts from 1954 to 1960.
MiG-15bis was improved version of MiG-15. Engine Klimov RD-45F was replaced by Klimov VK-1 engine. Apart from engine was strengthened wing construction, apply servo-drive flaps, increased elevator balance, reconstructed break shields and modified leading edge of tail fin.
Armament was one 30 mm cannon N-37D (40 rounds, 400 s/min), two 23 mm cannons NR-23KM (80 rounds, 800-900 s/m). Aircraft can carry two 50 kg or 100 kg bombs and two external fuel tanks for 250 litres.
